As a “mature” individual, I’ve been fortunate to work in various fields and industries, holding positions from grunt to senior management. These diverse experiences have served me well. Growing up on a small farm with little money, I learned the value of hard work early on and developed a strong work ethic and a desire to make something of myself, not in the eyes of others, but in my own. ​Though I never aspired to write, I was always an avid reader, and TV served as my babysitter during my early years. Films became my go-to form of entertainment, sparking a lifelong passion. I learned the hard way that maintaining a life/work balance is crucial for self-care. These experiences, along with a touch of fate, led me to write The Xeno Manifesto trilogy. ​The trilogy garnered enough attention to get me recommended to a reputable European film company, where I successfully rewrote two feature film screenplays. That’s when I got hooked. I turned my unique book ideas into screenplays, purchased my own film equipment, and decided to direct, produce, and even act out of necessity. What more can I say other than I am enjoying the ride and wherever it may take me. As others have said before me, all I want is to look back at my life and say that I tried to live an interesting one.
